Processing, Claims and Renewal/Reinstatements

  1. Who would be paid the proceeds of YippieCare/Oh Wow Care policy upon the maturity, the payor or the child?
  2. If a person takes up three policies with Hospital and Surgical rider, will he be paid three times if he makes claims for it?
  3. How long will it take to process the autodebit application?
  4. Can a customer go for surgery more than once for the same type of disease?
  5. Do we still pay the proceed if a person dies overseas?
  6. Can we still reinstate a policy which has lapsed?

  1. Who would be paid the proceeds of YippieCare/Oh Wow Care policy upon the maturity, the payor or the child?
    The child will be paid the proceeds because our YippieCare/Oh Wow Care is an educational policy meant for the child.

  2. If a person takes up three policies with Hospital and Surgical riders , will he be paid three times if he makes claims for it?
    Yes, however each rider will be subject to its own maximum limit.

  3. How long will it take to process the autodebit application?
    If the autodebit form is in order it will take about three weeks to process it.

  4. Can a customer go for surgery more than once for the same type of disease?
    Yes but subject to the benefit limit and provided it is not a pre existing condition.

  5. Do we still pay the proceed if a person dies overseas?
    Yes and the proceeds will be paid in Ringgit Malaysia.

  6. Can we still reinstate a policy which has lapsed?
    Yes provided it has not lapsed for more than 3 years and the customer must make a health declaration plus arrears of premium together with interest to be submitted for reinstatement of the policy.
